Steps for Purchase of Kitten

In order to purchase a cat/kitten from Velvet Thunder Cattery, the following steps must be followed as strictly and conveniently as possible by both buyer and seller.

• Buyer must contact Debra J. Johnson, owner of Velvet Thunder Cattery, via E-mail, telephone, or fax, as listed in our contact information, and express interest in the kitten the buyer wishes to purchase

• Velvet Thunder Cattery must give a basic interview of interested buyer in order to determine if buyer is safe, responsible, and well-meaning towards the kittens

• Buyer must read and be prepared to fill out, review, and sign all three contract agreements (Adoption Contract, Contract Terms and Conditions, and Health Guarantee) upon arrival at Velvet Thunder Cattery

• Transportation of kitten must be discussed and agreed to before purchase amount is sent to Velvet Thunder Cattery

• Purchase amount will be accepted in cash, US postal, money order, and paypal. Money must be received and confirmed before kitten can be delivered or handed over to buyer

• Buyer will adhere to and follow all terms, conditions, and provisions stated in the Health Guarantee, Contract Terms and Conditions, and Adoption Contracts, signed by buyer and seller on date of purchase

• If buyer should happen to violate any of the previously stated terms, conditions, or provisions, the guarantees listed will be immediately voided, and return of the cat/kitten will be suggested and discussed between Velvet Thunder Cattery and the buyer

• Annual calls/requests/queries will be made to the buyer in order to verify the well-being of the cat/kitten and its environment. If at any time Velvet Thunder Cattery believes the cat/kitten is being mistreated, abused, or has otherwise been denied the provisions listed in the Contract Terms and Conditions, a personal verification of the buyer and his/her premises will be suggested and enforced immediately
